Meet The Herd

Our homegrown buck, Bazooka, has been a huge game changer for our herd. He has proven himself year after year to produce our most amazing breeders.

Dragon is our homegrown buck who is just starting to earn his keep. We are excited to see how well he does in our program as a breeder.

Our homegrown buck Cosmos is one of our tallest bucks ever produced. He is very sweet and so far is producing some great offspring for us.

1912 is a buck we purchased from Oklahoma. We are just getting his first kids on the ground and we are pretty happy with him so far. Will be doing some more test breeding to see if he will stay.

Bon Bon, aka Bonny, is one of our original Kiko purchases. She has been one of our best producers by far. She has proven herself year after year and we retain almost all her daughters. She is going on 10 years old but is still producing great kids!

Pippa has earned her spot in the herd by producing thick, fast-growing kids but also because of her milk production and quality udder. She produces a very high butterfat and rich, creamy tasting milk. We hope to see the same production in her offspring!

Pinky has been a game changer for us. She is the reason we have been working with better udder attachments and milk production in our herd. She is also an amazing foster mom and always willing to take on extra kids and her milk production allows it! She is also the Dam of FPR Bazooka's Cosmos.

Sabrina has proven to make some amazing herd sires. She always has thick, fast-growing kids. We have only ever gotten 3 doelings from her but only one resides on the ranch. Another lives in New Mexico and the other passed away at 3 years old. We hope her new daughter will have a long, happy life here at the ranch.

Evy has surprised us with 3 amazing litters in a row. She gave twins and 2 sets of triplets, being ALL doelings! Evy is a heavy framed doe and weighing around 190lbs. She is also an amazing milker. We are proud of what she has produced for us.

Savannah has proven to be an amazing doe in our herd. She has continued to produce kids that grow fast and have great structure. She has also proven to be a great addition in our milking program and immediately took to the milk stand.

Daphne has been a huge game changer in our herd. She continues to produce better kids than herself, but also is a great addition to our milking herd. Her udder attachment is exactly what we are working towards, and she produces a great amount of milk. We look forward to seeing how her offspring will be as well!

Primrose has definitely outdone herself! She has produced triplets her first 2 years as a breeder and needed no assistance. She has also produced an amazing udder and we look forward to seeing how she might do as a milker.

Ebony has shown great promise. She is currently a FF and has produced some fast-growing triplets. Her udder is large enough to handle it, which is very surprising. She has us exciting to see how she will do in our program!

Azalea has been an amazing FF and her udder has shown good promise. Her kids have been growing at a phenominal rate foe a FF, which doesn't happen very often. We will be adding her into our milking program later this year!

Finn is very well built and an amazing FF mom. She was a doe i wanted to add to my herd because i regretted selling FPR Bear's Bazooka's dam. I had the opportunity to add Finn into my herd last year. I look forward to seeing if she will contribute as well as Bazooka has!

Divinity is one of unusual does. She doesn't seem to fit my typical choice of a keeper but when you see her offspring, it all makes sense! She has produced does' larger than herself and is one of the most amazing mothers. She is the only doe in our herd to ever give quadruplets and to top it off, raise them without assistance! She is also in our milking program.

Velvet has been our largest doe ever produced on the farm so far. She has such a large frame compared to her small dam and we couldn't be happier! She has proven to produce this large frame on her offspring as well. We look forward to seeing if she will produce a doe with the same traits.

Begonia is the short and stocky type. She is a FF and has produced twins the look almost exactly like her in structure and she is an amazing mother. We look forward to seeing what else she can do in our herd!
